Mt. Pleasant  May 3, 1857

Session met and was opened with prayer.

Thomas Fletcher presented himself as a candidate for admission to the church. His examination being satisfactory, Resolved that he be received.

Session met and was opened with prayer.

Sally, wife of Imaiishtabe, formerly a member of the Bennington church, came before the session and confessed that she had been guilty of neglect of christian duties. Upon consideration, though, she appeared penitent, Resolved that she be referred to the session of Bennington church, inasmuch as she is a member of that church.

The session of the Mt. Pleasant church met and was opened with prayer.

Mrs. Joseph Frazier, a member of the Mt. Pleasant church, came before the session and confessed that she had been guilty of violating the 4th commandment. Session being satisfied with the evidence she gave of penitence and with the words of caution, resolved, that she be restored.
