John Ray "Johnny" Bardin

Post by Wolfhuntress2002 » Sun Apr 12, 2009 10:32 am

I am searching for information on John Ray Bardin.
Born: 4 May 1909, Wapanucka, Johnston, OK
Death: 14 August 1958, Santa Fe Co, NM
Burial: West Lawn Cemetary, Henryetta, Okmulgee, OK

Headstone inscription states he served in WWII ( CPL 662 PORT CO TO WWII) Can anyone tell me about this inscription? What Branch? Anything. I know from the Amry Enlistment Record located on ancestory.com that he enlisted on 15 April 1942 in Tulsa Co, OK. He was single at the time and had nothing more than a Grammer School Eduation. States Branch: Branch Immaterial, Warrent Officer. (What does this mean?)

Looking for pictures and more information
