Mr. Anderson Lowrey is a son of Chief George
Lowrey. There is no marker at his grave, but Mrs. R.W. Walker was
with me and showed me his grave. (Mrs. R.W. Walker of Tahlequah, Oklahoma)
This is a nice family cemetery, well kept and fenced.
Mary Lowrey, born October 16, 1813, died
July 3, 1876, She was born back in Georgia
Suan (Susan?) Lowrey, nee Carter, born April
8, 1844, died Sept 6, 1895. She is a daughter of Mary and George
Lowrey
W.H. Martin, died March 6, 1934, age 74
years. W.H. Martin is a son of Hercules Martin, who was a Cherokee
interpreter in Washington, D.C.
The old Anderson Lowrey Cemetery located one
mile southwest of Woodall school, half mile east of 62 highway.
