The Lone Jack School was a one-room building located one mile east and 1/2 mile north
of the Cache Creek Bridge, just east of the Medicine Park "Y".
Lone Jack was also called East Franklin and Hess.  The original school was destroyed
by fire in 1921.  It was rebuilt 1/2 mile south and named "Lone Jack"
