Cost per registration is $25.00. You will receive a Certificate of registration suitable for framing with the name of your ancestor and your name for each ancestor for either pre-statehood (before 1907) or Early Statehood (Nov. 16, 1907 –Dec. 31, 1920).

For an additional $10.00 you will receive a one year membership to Craig County Genealogical Society which includes four society newsletters a year.

A Friends of the Vinita Library is now being formed, dues are $3.00 for an individual or $5.00 for a family if anyone would care to join.

We recommend a legal-sized SASE for Confirmation of receipt of application and/ or, for us to request further information if needed.

Applications can be printed from this web site, also directions for completion of application.

Funds from this project will be used to acquire more genealogy materials and new equipment.


Who Can Join


Early Residents of Craig County

Any one residing in or a direct descendant of someone residing in Craig County, Oklahoma at sometime from November 16, 1907 through 1920 or those who are adopted children of descendants or are descendants of an adopted child.

Also Descendants of Cherokee Nation Settlers on the Prairie Between the Neosho & Grand Rivers and the Verdigris River before November 16, 1907
