Vinita, June 19—Services for Mrs. Ella H. Smith, 76,
long-time Vinita resident who died Friday night in her home
here after a long illness, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in
Luginbuel Brothers Funeral home chapel.
Mrs. Smith, born Oct. 15, 1877, in Marathon, Ohio, moved with
her parents to Centralia, Kan., in March, 1885. She was a
member of the Methodist church. She was the widow of Sam L.
Smith, a pioneer Vinita businessman, who died in 1945.
She served as conference officer in the Methodist missionary
society for 20 years.
Survivors include: one daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Corlett, eight
nephews and nieces.
