Vinita—Funeral for Mrs. Mary Cottam, 83-year-old
resident of this area who died Friday in a local hospital
after a long illness, was Sunday in the highschool
auditorium in Cleora. Burial will be in the Ghormley
cemetery.
Mrs. Cottam, who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. W.C.
Thompson in Cleora, was born Sept. 18, 1871, in Polk county,
Missouri.
Survivors include: two other daughters, Mrs. Arthur Doub,
Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Carolyn Weddell, Hollywood, Calif.;
one son, Paul Cottam, Miami; one sister, Mrs. Tennie
Ferguson, Pittsburg, Mo.; nine grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
