Vinita—Funeral arrangements are pending for William Cox,
about 71, who died Thursday night in his home, nine miles
northwest of Vinita.
Cox, a farmer and coal miner, was a lifetime resident of the
old Estella community.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Viola Cox, Detroit,
Mich., and Mrs. Carl Nix, route 1, Vinita; one son, Leo Cox,
Joplin, Mo.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Juanita Johnson,
Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Vina Patrick, Vinita; two
half-brothers, Bob and Bud Cox, both of route 4, Vinita;
three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The Burckhalter Funeral home is in charge.
