Rites for Miss Althea Wise, 44-year-old teacher at Columbus
school, who died at her home 214 Northwest Seventh street,
early Thursday, will be conducted Friday at Vinita. The body
was sent to Vinita Thursday afternoon by Watts and McAtee
funeral home.
Miss Wise had taught in the city school system since 1931.
Before coming here, she taught two years at McAlester, five
years at Vinita and three years at Newton, Ill.
