VINITA, Feb. 3.—Emmett Hughes, 45 years old, assistant
postmaster of Vinita, died of heart disease Thursday
afternoon while driving in his car near Claremore. He
succeeded in pulling to the side of the road and stopping
before losing consciousness. His wife was with him.
