Vinita School Chief Dies in His Office
 

    VINITA, Jan. 24.—H.C. Demunbrun, 62, superintendent of Vinita schools, died unexpectedly of a heart ailment while in his office in Vinita highschool Monday morning.
    He was in his nineteenth year as superintendent here, coming from Canton in 1930. Demunbrun received his BA degree from Northwestern State college, Alva, and completed his master’s degree at Oklahoma A&M. He was member of the Rotary club, First Presbyterian church, the Masons and was active in the state War Dads association.
    Survivors include his wife, Blanche, of the home; a son, Elmo G. Deumbrun, Watonga; two daughters, Mrs. Tom Smysor, Bartlesville, and Mrs. Vivian E. Burdick, Vinita; his stepmother, Mrs. Joe Demunbrun, Greenfield, Okla., two sisters, Mrs. Jessie G. Lanning, Geary, and Mrs. Virginia Haynes, Altus; one brother, Charles B. Demunbrun, Muskogee, and two half-brothers, Gaither and Carl Demunbrun.
    Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
