VINITA, Nov. 12.—Services were held here for Benjamin H.
Abbott, 53 years old, who died in the Veterans hospital at
Muskogee following a long illness.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Sarah Abbott of Timber
Hill; five brothers, Omer of Vinita, Jim of Bluejacket, Jess
of Bluejacket, Herman of Vinita and Clarence of Bluejacket;
and two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Mercer and Mrs. Bill Voyles,
both of Vinita.
Veterans of Foreign Wars burial rites were held at the
Bluejacket cemetery.
