Two Highway Deaths Posted
 

    Two persons, one a 21-year-old mother of two daughters, died Friday in a Vinita hospital of injuries they received in two separate auto accidents on U.S. 66 southwest of Vinita.
    Mrs. Maxine Willa Gean Hardin, the young mother, died of head and internal injuries about 3 p.m. She was hit by an automobile last Monday night as she walked on Big Cabin bridge, a mile west of the northeastern Oklahoma town. Driver of the car, who was not held, told officers he was blinded by the lights of an oncoming vehicle.
    Ira Leonard Gasaway jr., 23, Tulsa, died early Friday less than two hours after a four-car crash 10 ˝ miles west of Vinita.
    Gasaway’s sister, Miss Dorothy Gasaway, 21, and Robert M. Meeks, 40, both of Tulsa and passengers in Gasaway’s car, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and Robert Dale McCullough, also of Tulsa, one of the other drivers, suffered a broken leg.
