Services have been tentatively set Thursday in Vinita for
James F. Rogers, 78, of Vinita, who died Tuesday morning in
Hubbard hospital following an illness of six months. Sherman
funeral home, Britton, will announce final arrangements.
Rogers, a cousin of the late Will Rogers, famed humorist, is
survived by Mrs. Josephine Rogers, his wife, home address;
five daughters, Mrs. P.C. Stucker, Britton; Mrs. Anna Calas,
Denver; Mrs. Mary Pierce, Azelia, Ore.; Mrs. Barbara Eahart,
Levenworth, Kan.; and Mrs. Lolayla McCullah, Vinita; son,
James F. Rogers jr., of Salina, Kan., and two brothers,
Henry and Louis, both of Pryor.
