Carpenter Rites Are Scheduled Today in Vinita
 

    VINITA—Services for Willie Carpenter, 40, former Craig count commissioner who died Thursday, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the White Oak school gymnasium. Burial will be in Lewis Shawnee cemetery, west of White Oak.
    Carpenter served four months of his term as commissioner before being forced to resign in October because of ill health. His brother, R.L. Carpenter, succeeded him as commissioner in the White Oak district.
    Survivors include his wife, Amie; one son, Johnny Carpenter, Tulsa; one daughter, Mrs. Reba Boyd, White Oak; his father, Ben Carpenter, route 4, Vinita; three sisters, Mrs. Allen Daic, route 4, Vinita; Mrs. Buck Secondine, Tulsa; Mrs. A.M. Hunt, Vinita, and five brothers, R.L. and Leonard, White Oak; Ross, Turley; Kenneth and George, both of Tulsa.
