VINITA, July1—Services for Mrs. J.D. Powell, 66, Craig
county woman who died Monday in a local hospital, will be at
2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist church.
Mrs. Powell came with her family to Craig county in 1937
from Sturgis, S.D.
Survivors include four daughters Mrs. Doris Miller and Mrs.
Laura Dodt, both of St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Edna Parrish,
Vinita; and Mrs. Alice Darnell, Bluejacket; three sons,
Carl, Lloyd, and Ellis Powell, all of Vinita; three sisters,
Mrs. George T. Babb and Mrs. P.E. Thurman, both of St.
Louis; and Mrs. George T. Brown, Vinita; one brother, H.C.
Mullersman, St. Geneva, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
