VINITA—Services for Patrick F. “Pat” Moran, 82, retired coal
mine operator who died Tuesday in a local hospital, will be
at 3 p.m. Thursday in Luginbuel Brothers funeral chapel.
Born in Kilkinney, Kilgannay county, Ireland, Moran came to
the U.S. when he was 20 years old. He worked as a coal mine
operator in Arkansas and Oklahoma for several years. He
moved from Arkansas to Craig county 23 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; one daughter, Mrs. Leo
Turner, route 2, Bluejacket.
