VINITA—Services for Andrew B. Murr, 83-year-9ld Vinitan who
died in a local hospital following a long illness, will be
at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Luginbuel Brothers funeral home
chapel.
Murr, who was born in Marysville, Tenn., came to what is now
Oklahoma in 1893 and participated in the Cherokee strip run.
He lived in that area until 1913 when he moved to Mayes
county. He removed to Vinita eight years ago after retiring
from the farm. He was a member of the First Christian
church, Vinita.
Survivors include: two brothers, James R. Murr, route 1, Big
Cabin and William T. Murr, Bedford, Iowa; three nephews and
one niece.
