Wilhelm Duwel Dies in Vinita; Rites Planned
 

    VINITA, Aug. 21—Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Holy Ghost Catholic church here for Wilhelm Duwel, 85, who died Friday morning in a Vinita rest home after a long illness.
    Requiem mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the church.
    Born in Germany, Duwel came to the United States in 1885 and lived in Iowa for 15 years before moving to Indian Territory. He lived on a farm near Vinita from 1918 until recent years.
    Survivors include four sons, Gus, route 2, Vinita; Joe, Vinita; Albert, Elkin, Neb., and Lawrence, Chicago, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
