Pioneer Vinita Postman Dies; Services Today
 

    VINITA, Sept. 9—Services for Charles A. Wasmund, pioneer Vinitan who died in a local hospital Wednesday evening after a long illness, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the First Methodist church. St. Louis, Mo., served as postal clerk and mail carrier for 23 years in Vinita. He returned in 1933. He was a member of the First Methodist church.
    Survivors include his wife; two sons, J.M. Wasmund, Hammond, Ind., and Uell Wasmund, Vinita; one daughter, Miss Lucille Wasmund of the home; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
