VINITA—Services for Uell Vincent Wasmund, 48-year-old native
of Vinita who died early Friday in a local hospital after a
long illness, were Sunday afternoon in the First Methodist
church here. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
Wasmund, born in Vinita in 1906, was employed here for 10
years by the Tidewater Oil Co. before going to work at the
Vinita postoffice 13 years ago. He was a member of the First
Methodist church.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Lena Wasmund of the home;
one son, Charles Wasmund of the home; one daughter, Mrs. R.H.
Reheard, Tulsa; his mother, Mrs. Charles A. Wasmund, Vinita;
one brother, J.M. Wasmund, Hammond, Ind.; one sister, Miss
Lucille Wasmund, Vinita; and one granddaughter, Charlotte
Kay Reheard, Tulsa.
