Retired Vinita Teacher’s Rites Slated Today
 

    VINITA, Feb. 29—Services for Miss Nannie Collins, 67, retired Vinita public school teacher, who died Tuesday in a local hospital after a long illness, will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Methodist church.
    Miss Collins, born and raised in Vinita, started her teaching career at the age of 16. She taught her first year at the Ironside Rural school near Vinita and then was employed in the Vinita public school system for the next 36 years.
    She was Eugene Field grade school principal at the time of her retirement, and was a member of the First Methodist church.
    Survivors include a brother, Charles of the home here.
