VINITA—Services for Earl Walker, 80, who died Wednesday in a
local hospital after a long illness, were Friday in the Burckhalter Memorial chapel.
Walker retired in 1950 after 48 years as an employe of the
First National bank here. He was born March 9, 1876, in
Chyana, Ky., and came to Vinita with his parents in 1882.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles W. Walker, Bisbee,
Ariz., and T.T. (Boo) Walker, Vinita.
