VINITA—Services are pending here for Ivan S. Bennett, 29, a
former Vinitan who died in a Tulsa hospital after a long
illness. Arrangements will be announced by Luginbuel
Brothers Funeral home.
Bennett, born in White Oak near Vinita, had been working as
a carpenter in the Oklahoma City area the past several
years.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Sarah Bennett, Vinita;
seven brothers, Roy, Ross and Bill Bennett, all of Vinita,
John, Tulsa, Charles, Britton, Belman stationed with the
U.S. army in Germany, and Sherman, Tulsa; and one sister,
Mrs. Jessie Hanson, Oklahoma City.
