VINITA—Services for Mrs. Lesbia “Peppie” Clarke, 72-year-old
former Vinitan who died Sunday in a Twin Falls, Idaho,
hospital after a brief illness, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday
in the First Christian church here.
Mrs. Clarke, the widow of C.G. Clarke, a tailor here several
years ago, was born in Dresden, Tenn. She had lived in
Vinita from 1918 to about 1951.
She was a member of the First Christian church and of the
Eastern Star chapter in Vinita.
Survivors include a son, Reavis Foster, Well, Nev.; one
sister, Mrs. C.D. Moore, Sapulpa; and two brothers, H.L. and
John Page, both of Wells.
