WELCH—Services were Wednesday in the First Christian church
here for James Albert McAffrey, 76-year-old retired
farmer-stockman who died Monday in a Vinita hospital after a
long illness. Burial was in the Welch cemetery.
McAffrey, born near Grove, had lived in the Welch community
the past 40 years. He was a member of the First Christian
church.
Survivors include his wife, Ida, two sons, Arthur and
Roscoe, both of Welch; two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Bray and
Mrs. Dolly Garrison, both of Welch; three brothers, John,
Olympia, Wash., Hugh, Los Angeles, and Andrew, Tulsa; one
sister, Mrs. Molly Wright, Baker, Ore.; seven grandchildren
and 14 great-grandchildren.
