Former State Druggist Dies; Rites Pending
 

    VINITA, Aug. 28—Services are pending for C.L. “Pat” Murphy, 74-year-old Vinitan, who died Sunday in a local hospital following a six-month illness. Burckhalter Funeral home is in charge.
    Murphy came to Craig county in 1945 from Grandfield, Okla., following retirement as a pharmacist. He resided near Vinita until 1951 when he and his wife moved here.
    At Grandfield, he owned and operated the Rexall drug store for 17 years. Before that time he had been employed in several drug stores in Oklahoma since 1907. He was graduated in 1913 from the school of pharmacy at Oklahoma university, Norman.
    He was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic church, Vinita.
    Survivors include: his wife, Maude; three sisters, Mrs. F.J. McKillip and Miss Margaret Murphy, both of Nokomis, Ill., and Sister Regina Fidelis, Cincinnati; and four brothers, Albert, James, William and Joe Murphy, all of Nokomis.
