VINITA—Services are pending for M.C. Epperson, 78-year-old
Vinita carpenter who died Sunday in Welch hospital after an
illness of about six months. Burckhalter funeral home is in
charge.
Epperson, who had lived in Craig county 41 years, is
survived by his wife, Bertha, three sons, Clarence,
Bluejacket, Collie, Disney, and Frank, Muskogee; three
daughters, Mrs. Weltha Smith, Miami, Mrs. Lenor Taylor,
Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Pearl Henderson, Bluejacket; one
brother, Arthur, Miami; three sisters, Mrs. Lottie Hendrix,
Girard, Kan., Mrs. Ella Cook, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Dora
Douglas, Chanute, Kan.
