VINITA—Requiem mass was Friday in the Holy Ghost Catholic
church here for Thomas E. Butler, 60-year-old retired oil
man who died here Tuesday.
Butler, who had lived most of his life in the Chelsea and
Okmulgee areas, was born in Elder, Pa.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine; one daughter, Mary
Catherine Butler; and three sons, Tommy, Paul and Johnny,
all of the home in Vinita; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Doyle,
Tulsa, Miss Colletta Butler, Okmulgee, and Mrs. Don Wise,
New Orleans, La., and two brothers, Jack and Earl both of
Okmulgee.
