Former Craig Sheriff Dies; Rites Today
 

    VINITA, Dec. 27—Services for Roger H. Waller, 67, a former Craig county sheriff who died Wednesday in a local hospital, following an illness of four months, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Luginbuel Brothers Funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Welch cemetery.
    Waller, born in Paris, Mo., came to the Welch area in 1900. He served as undersheriff in Craig county from 1935 to 1939, and as sheriff from 1939 to 1945. Since then he had farmed near Welch.
    Survivors include his wife, Lillie M.; two sons, Bill, Vinita, and Clifton, route 1, Bluejacket; two daughters, Mrs. Lake Parker, route 1, Bluejacket, and Mrs. Rufus McKinney, Chetopa, Kan.; one brother, Dave, near Welch; two sisters, Mrs. Ira Ptichford, and Mrs. Florence Yeates, both of Tulsa; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
