WELCH—Services for
J.H. “Hank” Witham, 89, pioneer Craig county stockman who
died Friday in a Miami, Okla., hospital, were Sunday in the
First Methodist church here. Interment was in the Welch
cemetery.
Witham, born in Labette county, Kansas, had lived in the
Welch area since he was 19 years old.
Survivors include one daughter, Miss Madelyne Witham,
Oklahoma City; two sons, Wayne, Albuquerque, N. Mex., and
Robert, Miami, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. O.M. Humphrey,
Parsons, Kan., and Mrs. Ben Leabo, Redwood City, Calif.;
three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
