VINITA—Funeral was here Tuesday for Mark Harmon Weddel, 78,
a pioneer of the Bluejacket area who died Sunday after a
heart attack.
He was a retired farmer and stockman.
Survivors are five sons including E.H., Altus; Leroy A.,
Grove, and Carl M., Quapaw; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Fair,
Centralia; Mrs. Lena Bailey, Quapaw; Mrs. Bertie Jones and
Mrs. Cleo Fugate, both of near Bluejacket; two sisters, Mrs.
Etta Giles and Mrs. Lydia Giles, both of Vinita, and 32
grandchildren.
