W. (Buddy) Musgrove Service for L.W. (Buddy) Musgrove were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2001 at First Baptist Church, Wynnewood with Bro. Jerry Wells officiating. Interment was in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Wynnewood with DeArman Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Musgrove came to Oklahoma at the age of two and grew up in McCurtain county. As a young boy he worked for his father, a barber, and had several jobs such as shinning shoes, cutting hair and picking cotton. In 1934 he married Evelyn Ruth Burwell and began work at Dierks Lumber Mill, now Weyerhaeuser in Wright City. He later moved to Ardmore and began working for the Hudson Houston Lumber Co. In 1945, he was transferred to Wynnewood. In June of 1948, he opened Musgrove Lumber and Hardware and managed the business for the next 53 years. He was proud of the community of Wynnewood its school system. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis, a co-founder of the Wynnewood Booster Club. He served on the board of directors of Landmark Bank and served as a deacon in the First Baptist Church. He enjoyed attending many school sponsored activities, including going 52 years straight without missing a Savage football game. Mr. Musgrove is survived by his wife, Evelyn, of the home;Steve Musgrove and his wife, Lee Ann, Stan Musgrove and his wife, Patty,Shawn Musgrove and his wife, Cathy, Stacy Musgrove and his wife, Lisa, Kurt Nelson and his wife, Tanna, Kris Nelson and his wife, Laura; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by parents, and sisters, Ola Mae, Verna Lee and Mary Lou. Interment will be at Wynnewood Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Lillie, 92, was born to Riley and Lue Clement on Nov. 18, 1908, at Tecumseh. She passed awau Monday, March 5, 2001 in Pauls Valley. She and Lee imbrell were married in Pauls Valley on Jan 21, 1928. to this union two children were born: son, Royce Kimbrell and daughter, Glena Jackson, both of Wynnewood. Lee and Lille farmed in the Garvin County area until the 1950s, and then Lillie worked in the Wynnewood school cafeteria. She retired from the Pauls Valley State School in 1971. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee in 1983; parents, Riley and Lue Clement in 1974 and 1975; brothers: Cecil Clement in 1979, Lee Clement in 1983 and Johnny Clement in 1995; and sister, Frances Perry in 2000. She is survived by her son, Royce Kimbrell of Wynnewood; daughter, Glenna Jackson of Wynnewood; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other family members. submitted by Glenna Jackson email:glenna@telepath.com Jack Ferguson Funeral services for Jack Ferguson of Oklahoma City were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel with Father Stanley Donham and Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment was at Elmore City Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Jack Ferguson, 67, was born to G.I. "Bill" and Nell Lee (Goodwin) Ferguson in Foster on June 15, 1933, and passed away Saturday, May 12, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Jack grew up in Foster and graduated from Pernell High School in 1950. Jack was salutatorian of his graduating class. He attended East Central State College in Ada. Jack was employed at the Utica Square Bank in Tulsa from 1965 through 1967 where he served as vice president. Jack Ferguson and Cynthia Martin were married March 2, 1968, in Houston, Texas. He was later employed at the First National Bank of Maysville where he served as executive vice president from 1971 through 1980. During many of these years Jack was involved in ranching. He retired to Lake Arbuckle for a number of years. The couple then moved to Purcell and later Oklahoma City. Jack was a member of the St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Lindsay and the Norman Moose Lodge. Jack is survived by his wife, Cindy Ferguson of the home; three sons: Bradley Jay Ferguson of Oklahoma City, Lance Beller of Fort Worth, Texas, and Buster Martin of Broken Arrow; daughter, Vicki Lynn Fryar of Lexington; brother, Paul Ferguson of Foster; four grandchildren; and other family members.
