Frank Blackstone

Frank Blackstone was a native of Kansas and he homesteaded at the farm location listed below. It is located about 5 miles South of Highway US 64 near the Cimarron River in far N.E. Harper Co. The land was recorded in 1902.

Wm. P. Mayberry is now the recorded owner of the origional land.

Land described as upland Farm of 100 Acres, 50 Acres under cultivation. All fenced, Two room frame house; frame stable 14 X 20 ft.; Granary 10 X 12 Ft.; Well and Windmill

Legal location on books. Section 19
TWP 27 N. R 20 W

Bought from The Pioneer Mtg. Co; 160 Acres Book 2 Page 305

Charleston is a long gone town which must be in the area of the farm.

If you would like to get copies of deeds or land transfers etc, you can write to:

Charlotte Cash Harper Co Clerk Box 369 Buffalo, Ok. 73838
There is a nominal charge for copies.

I would suggest sending a copy of this letter to Charolotte.

The Legal description and book numbers have to be correct for them to locate the records.

Please let me know if this has been of some help to you.
