Edward F. Dutcher, who recently enlisted with the army air corps, left Monday for training at Fort Sill. Dutcher is the son of Mrs. E. T. Dutcher, 1823 E. Grant.
Kenneth Ham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Ham, 319 S. First, who was injured in an accident last week at the Fontana School of Aeronautics, Rochester, Minn., where he is in training, was reported to be in satisfactory condition Wednesday.
Frank Hammitt, radioman, third class, has completed an advanced radio training course at Noroton Heights, Conn., and has been transferred to the Armed Guard center at New Orleans, La. Hammitt, who has been spending a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Hammitt, 1802 W. Mansur, left Tuesday night.


County Residents Enlist in U. S. Army
The Logan County selective service board Wednesday were advised of the enlistment of two county registrants in the United States Army.
Edward Frederick Dutcher, 1823 E. Grant, enlisted through the Oklahoma City office, and was assigned as special aircraft mechanic.
Bruce Raymond White, now residing in Los Angeles, Calif., wired for a release from the local board stating that he has enlisted in the army air corps.
