Elmer E. Carmichael, C. M.

Participated in the invasions of Sicily and Palermo and is now stationed somewhere in England.

He entered the service on June 23, 1942 and is now 22 years old.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Carmichael of Crescent.

He is a gunner in the Coast Guard.

Was formerly employed at the Crescent Lumber company.
