James C. Watts, Jr., A. B.

Watts, a member of the U. S. Merchant Marine, since April 2, 1942, was in a bombing in England in June, 1943, and in a convoy which was attacked by Nazi planes in October, 1943, in which eight ships were lost.

He was graduated from Guthrie highschool and attended Central State college, Edmond.

Before going into service he was employed at the Oklahoma Gas and Electric company.

His wife lives at 824 N. Wentz Blvd.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Watts, 322 E. Warner Ave.
