James L. Carey, P. O. 1-C

Attended naval school at A. and M. college, Stillwater for 13 weeks and at San Francisco, calif., for eight months before being assigned to a ship.

He is now somewhere in the Atlantic.

A graduate of Guthrie highschool, he was employed at the Carey Electric before going into the navy in February, 1942.

He is 36 years of age.

His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mort Carey, reside north of city.
