Cpt. Lawrence George Dunnica

Reported missing in action following a raid on submarine pens at St. Nazaire, France, February 16, 1943, when his plane failed to return.

Dunnica, who entered the army air corps November 27, 1941, has received an air medal and a medal for meritorious service in London. Pilot of a flying fortress, he led a flight of planes to England in October, 1942. He was promoted to Captain February 15, 1943.

He is 26 years of age and received his education at Guthrie highschool, Edmond Central State college and Oklahoma City University.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Dunnica, 209 S. Elm St.
