Inducted into the army in April, 1942 and received his basic training at Camp Wolters, Tex.

Was commissioned a second lieutenant after completing officer's training at Fort Benning, Ga.

Received the promotion to first lieutenant in October.

He is 30 years of age and is now stationed at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.

Was graduated from Faver highschool and attended Langston university.
