Hoyt D. Manning

Hoyt D. Manning, age 69, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away May 31, 2011, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on July 1, 1941 in Cox City, Oklahoma to H.F. (Bill) and Lola Mae (Bunch) Manning.
Hoyt married Sue A. Naylor on November 15, 1982, in Canadian, Texas. He lived in Guthrie for 1 year, before moving to Guthrie he lived in Butler, Oklahoma for 28 years. He worked for Butler Schools, was an Independent Pastor, former Vice President of Custer County Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary and Mayor of Butler,Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife Sue of the home, 4 children, Hoyt D. (Johanna) Manning, Jr. of Canadian, TX; Holly (Carl) Tecumseh and Paula Manning both of Marlow, OK; Ricky D. Manning of Clinton, OK; 4 step children, Gary (Jennifer) Watts of Berea, KY; Stephen Watts Indianapolis, IN; Theresa Homan of Jones, OK and Billy Kies of Arkansas. He is also survived by siblings Fern Vinson of Waurika, OK; Don Manning and Bruce Manning both of Lindsey, OK; Gary Manning and Ronnie Manning both of Blanchard, OK; Sharon Dutton and Vicki Johnson both of Lindsey, OK; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Watts officiating.
