Delia Ruth McCune daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George McCune born Tuesday, August 7th, 1894 at 12:00 PM
Died Friday October 5th, 1894 at 05:00 AM
Was laid to rest in the Mulhall Cemetery Saturday at 10:00 AM
Rev. Brown the Methodist preacher preached the funeral. She suffered six weeks. Her ailments were unknown though death never came unexpected. She had two hard convulsions Thursday night and died an easy death Friday evening.

I will send you a piece of her dress and hair and some flowers off her coffin. I haven't but a small piece of the trimming to keep as a keepsake.
She looked as much like me as the other did George.
They took the wreath off the coffin and gave me a little white rose out of her hands. I have got them pressed. Jake says they ought to be ashamed to take our doll baby from us. He is mad at all of them.
