This cemetery was located on or near the property owned by the Dolese Brothers Co. at Big Canyon. The Dolese Bros. had a large quarry which produced materials used for RR ballast, concrete and road building.

In the early part of the last century, Mexican laborers were used at the quarry. Their family burials were made in this cemetery which was located between the quarry and the Washita River. I have not been there and so have no photos of the site.

Below are five names that were taken from cemetery registry books at Fox Funeral Home in Davis, OK. I have no other name for the cemetery and very few people are now alive that have heard of it or knows where it is located. Registry done Nov 10, 2001. Five burials are in the cemetery but there is more suspected which will be discovered when a trip is made to the tiny secluded cemetery. - Dennis Muncrief
