Mr. C. H. Codding and family are sight-seeing in Old Mexico and California at present.

Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Seward left Sunday for Marshall, Missouri, which is to be their home in the future. These people have been residents of Foraker 17 years and we are mightly sorry they decided to leave.

Miss Gladys Perryman returned to Arkansas City Sunday after spending the week end at home.

Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Weaver made a business trip to Arkansas City Friday.

J. K. Codding transacted business in Pawhuska Friday.

Miss Olive Paash, who underwent an operation for appendicitis last fall has enrolled in the Foraker High School the last semester.

The house recently vacated by F. S. Seward will be occupied by K. Smith and family.

Mrs. J. K. Coddding, who has been ill the past week, is getting along nicely at the present writing.

Mrs. Victor Connor is on duty again after a week's illness.

Miss Eleanor Wilson enrolled in the Catholic school at Pawhuska this week.

Mrs. T. F. Casselman is able to be out again after an attack of rheumatism.

Mrs. O. N. Erickssten and daughter are in Wichita, this week, where her daughter Mary Jane is in the doctor's care.

Mrs. J. A. Whaling and daughter Elva, spent Saturday in Cedar Vale, Kansas. Mrs. Whaling is having dental work done.

Mr. Deane, helper at the M. V. depot is back on the job again after spending some time in the hospital.

Mrs. K. Smith gave a six o'clock dinner Sunday evening in honor of her husband's birthday. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Remund, Mr. J. I. Stanford, Mrs. Clark, Mr. A. F. Buckley, Mr. E. J. Schroke, M. Eidson, Mr. R. M. Hunt and son, Robert.

Miss Estella Stephenson gave a twelve o'clock luncheon Tuesday, Jan. 26, in honor of her father, A. Stephenson's and Mr. Mann's birthdays. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Mann of Webb City, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Finn of Grainola, Mr. and Mrs. John Finn, and Walter Hood, and family.

We are glad to report the rapid recovery of Otis Baker, who has been severely ill with pneumonia.

There is a report that H. H. Romine is planning to return with his family to Foraker to live. We hope it is true.
