Harold Davis Colburn

Harold Davis Colburn died at the home of his parents in Terlton Tuesday noon. The cause of death was malarial poison accompanied by heart failure.

Deceased was the only son of Charles G. and Cora. F. Colburn and was born in Hiawatha, Kansas on 10 September 1887. Until taken sick a few weeks ago, he was a student at the state university at Norman, where he was taking a course in pharmacy.

Harold Colburn was a member of the Topeka, Kansas Methodist Church and Jennings Lodge Number 152 AF&M, and the members of that lodge conducted a short ceremony at the resisdence last Tuesday evening. The remains were taken to Topeka, Kansas and interred in the Topeka Cemetery Wednesday accompanied by the bereft parents and also by J. P. Davis, of Topeka, who arrived Tuesday morning a short time before the death of his grandson.

The sympathy of this entire community goes out to the parents and relatives and they all feel the loss they have sustained in the departure of this splendid young man of sterling worth and promising citizenship.
