1 Thessalonians 4: 14-17.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep
in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and
remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of
the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise
first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the
clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Amen.

NOTE SUBMITTED BY WEBSITE VIEWER : Opal May Brewer was actually Opal May Sanders - sister to Billy James Sanders and daughter to John R. and Clyda B. Sanders. Aunt to Billy John Sanders, also sister to Melvin R. (Buck) Sanders. Great Aunt to Matthew C. Sanders. She hadn't been married very long before her death, to Mr. Brewer. We asked that Sanders be put on her marker so other family members could find it but it didn't happen. Another death is Clyda Raye (Rose) Sanders, age 43, niece to Opal May, and the others mentioned, and was buried in Elmore City, Oklahoma with her husbands family. Faye Spears is also a sister to Opal May, Billy James and Melvin Sanders. She is buried with her Spears family at Kosoma on the east side.
