I live very close to Mendenhall's. It was very helpful to recognize both names, since the sign on the building only says Keller's.  However, it is incorrectly stated that the building was not in use. It has been used as an apartment building for many years now. The main house has a few units. The "cabins" behind it are now efficiency apartments. It is, of course, in a rather sad state of disrepair. Hopefully things like a national register of historic sites will help the building sometime soon.
