Genealogical Society Info


The Rogers County Genealogical Society meets the second Thursday of each month, 7:00
at the LDS Church, 1701 N. Chambers Terr, Claremore, Oklahoma.

Membership dues are: Single $10, Family $15.

All members receive the quarterly publication THE QUILL.

Each issue includes listing of various Rogers County cemeteries, marriages, births, deaths, probate, histories, etc.

The Rogers County Genealogical Society is emphasizing making local records accessible.

Members will research for $7.50 per hour donation.

Photo copies are 25 cents a page. Please enclose a SASE with your request.

Each Rogers Co. Book - $12.50

The QUILL: Vol. 1 - 1993 Vol. 2 - 1994 Vol. 3 - 1995 Vol 4 -1996 (published quarterly about 16 pages) $2.50 @ issue or Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 combined $10.00

Each Marriage book includes the complete names ages, and residence of grooms and brides, the date and location of the marriage. Some of the marriages include the race and birth location for the bride and groom.

Rogers County Marriage Book 1- 1907 - 1910 approximately 450 marriages indexed for both grooms and brides.

Rogers County Marriage Book 2 - 1910 - 1913 over 500 marriages indexed for both grooms and brides.

Rogers County Marriage Book 3 - 1913 - l9l7 over 500 marriages indexed for both grooms and brides.

Rogers County Will Book 1- 1907 - l941 - includes names of individuals that filed the will, listing of all persons named within the will, the date of filing and the original reference of will. This book has two indexes (1) All persons named and (2)The name of person who filed the will.

Rogers Co. W War I Draft Registration Volume 1 A-K, Volume 2 L-Z - Index of men residing in Rogers County who were born between 1873 - 1900 includes date and place of birth and complete name.
