Funeral services for Isabell D. ALLISON, 87, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Marshall Funeral Home of Marshall, Texas. Burial was in Peoria Cemetery, in Peoria, Texas, with local arrangements under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. ALLISON was born May 31, 1921, in Hillsboro, Texas, to J.N. LLOYD and Carrie (RICHARDSON) LLOYD. She died Friday, March 27, 2009, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two sons, Don and Jerry; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dovie and Jewell; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester ALLISON.

Graveside services for Keith Wayne BRUCE, 42, of Parkhill, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow with Bro. Shane Hixson officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. BRUCE was born March 4, 1967, in Bakersfield, Calif., to Carrol Wayne BRUCE and Hattie Saphronia (FRASIER) BRUCE. He died Friday, March 27, 2009, in Parkhill. Survivors include his father; two sisters, Linda and Glenda; three nieces; one nephew; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Lillian L  (MILLER) FRANKS was born July 13, 1911 seven miles east of Sallisaw in a community called Miller Ridge, so named because of her grandparents, Arthur William "Winchester" MILLER and Hettie (TAYLOR) MILLER who settled in the area prior to statehood. Lillian was the oldest daughter of ten children born to Charles Ben MILLER and Mary Clay RILEY MILLER. Lillian married Orphus York FRANKS in 1928. Lillian is survived by her children Patsy Lee, Carl Bernard, Marcy and her husband Jim, Jonita and husband Alan. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. Services were held Monday at First Baptist Church in Tulsa and burial was at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Molene PAYNE HEARN, 89, of Sallisaw, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Bro. Richard Weatherford and Bruce Huff officiating. Burial will be in the White Cemetery, in Gore, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HEARN was born Feb. 6, 1920, in Harrison, to Earl Angus PAYNE and Florence (CAPPS) PAYNE. She died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, in Sallisaw. She married Jay Waldon HEARN, May 4, 1938, in Tahlequah. He preceded her in death, March 4, 1999 in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Mary; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Edna, Frankie, and June; and one brother, Jay. She was also preceded in death by one son, Don HEARN, two grandchildren, Larry and Daniel HEARN, her parents, three sisters, Eileen COTNER, K.T. PRUITT and Velma RICHARDSON and three brothers, Earl, Guy and Billy PAYNE.

Funeral services for Marilyn J. “Granny” OSBORNE, 76, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Bro. Homer Osborne officiating. Burial was in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, northeast of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. OSBORNE was born Aug. 2, 1932, in Muldrow, to Rass BLEDSOE and Lula (WHEELER) BLEDSOE. She died Thursday, March 26, 2009, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Virgil Allen OSBORNE, Oct. 11, 1947, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death, May 20, 1992, in Roland. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Rickey Allen and Ruth; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Nellie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Bill, William, Jerry and Dean.

Funeral services for Marilyn Miriam WINNOW TAYLOR, 62, of Muldrow, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. TAYLOR was born Aug. 20, 1946, in San Diego, Calif., to Edward Lloyd WINNOW and Ruby Irene (WATTS) WINNOW. She died Monday, March 30, 2009, in Muldrow. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Stacey; one grandson; and one sister, Diane. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services for Christine LEE WATERS, 74, of McKey, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Brushy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, with Chuck Craighead and Bros. Wesley Thomason and Ed Cunningham officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WATERS was born Dec. 18, 1934, in Barber, to William Penn LEE and Lucelle EDEN. She died Saturday, March 28, 2009, in Sallisaw. She married George Junior WATERS, Dec. 12, 1959, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death, July 22, 1996, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Tonya and Scott, and Marilyn; one son and daughter-in-law, William and Joquetta; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Gladys, Bernice, Bonnie, and Eva; and one brother, Dub. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, her parents, one sister, Hiawatha CLOUD and three brothers, Donelle, J.C. and Albert LEE.

Funeral services for Kendall J. COX, 51, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Cotton McKinney officiating. Burial was in Brent Cemetery, south of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. COX was born Dec. 1, 1957, in Poteau, to Jack COX and Virginia (HOWERTON) COX. He died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, in Tulsa. He married Mary SEYLER, July 30, 1976, in Keota. Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Tony; one son and daughter-in-law, Kendall and Amber; six grandchildren; mother, Virginia COX; one sister, Jackie; one brother, Charles; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, four brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law and father-in-law.

Funeral services for Linda L. HOLT, 66, of Gans, are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Church of the Nazarene in Sallisaw with the Revs. Lowell Churchill and Lowell Clark officiating. Burial is in the Muldrow Memory Garden, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HOLT was born Nov. 26, 1942, in Redland, to Rev. Tom MIDDLETON and Margie May (PATRICK) MIDDLETON. She died Thursday, April 2, 2009, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dwight and Stephanie; four grandchildren; two sisters, Diana and Jane; one brother, Danny; step-mother, Dortha MIDDLETON; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lawrence and Tommy Lynn MIDDLETON.

John D. STRANGE, 52, of Sallisaw, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, in Sallisaw. No formal service is planned and cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. STRANGE was born Feb. 12, 1957, in Troy, Pa., to Phillip STRANGE and Marlene (PRYNE) STRANGE. Survivors include Kim of the home; one daughter, Melissa; one son, Andrew; two sisters, Joyce and Barbara; two brothers, Gene and Charles; and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services for Stella M. WEBSTER, 88, of Gore, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Akins Cemetery Gazebo, northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Wendell Cox officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WEBSTER was born July 28, 1920, in Faulkner County, Ark., to Jim MILLS and Lillie (HENDERSON) MILLS. She died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, in Gore. She married Curtis MORRISON, March 1940. Later she married Roy WEBSTER in the 1970s. Both preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter and her companion, Ruth Ellen and Jim; one son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Joan; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; three nieces and their husbands; three nephews their wives; and several great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends. She was also preceded in death by one brother, James MILLS and three sisters, Eltea ADKINS, Amanda WHITAKER and Ruby GILMORE.

Graveside services for Cherry COX, 78, of Sallisaw, are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Brent Cemetery, south of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Jerry Copeland officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. COX was born March 23, 1931, in Sallisaw, to Nick COX and Lillian (DAWSON) COX. He died Monday, April 6, 2009, in Sallisaw. He married Dorothie May CRISEL, Nov. 4, 1949, in Holly Grove, Ark. She preceded him in death, Jan. 10, 2008, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Kay and Debora Nadean; five sons, Donnie Ray, James Earl, Danny Nicholas, Billy Jack and Mark Anthony; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for David HOUSE, 62, of Sallisaw, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Missionary Baptist Church in Sallisaw with the Rev. Issac Slape officiating. Burial is in Akins Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. HOUSE was born Feb. 26, 1947, in Marshall, Ark., to Chesley HOUSE and Mary (HUCKABEE) HOUSE. He died Sunday, April 5, 2009, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Matti of the home; two daughters, Michelle and Adrian, and Brenda and Johnny; one son, Richard and Ladonna; two sisters, Rachel and Herb, and Angela and Richard; mother, of the home; 25 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services for Patsy JAMISON, 75, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Calvary Temple Church in Sallisaw with the Revs. Jerry Green and Tommie Noel officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. JAMISON was born May 17, 1933, in Hanson, to Ted TOUNZEN and Josie (MILLER) TOUNZEN. She died Friday, April 3, 2009, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her husband, Robert of the home; one daughter, Tajuania Jo; one son, Robert; one granddaughter; and three step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Nora A. LEE, 42 of Liberty, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Liberty Assembly of God Church in Liberty with the Revs. Tommy Treat and Bobby Mason officiating. Burial was in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, northeast of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Roland. Mrs. LEE was born Sept. 15, 1966, in Alma, Ark., to Tony JONES and Glenda (SWAIM) JONES. She died Thursday, April 2, 2009, in Muldrow. Survivors include her companion of 17 years, Brian; mother; two sisters, Bridgette and Kimberly; three brothers, Andrew, Elmer and Jerry; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie LEE in 1989, daughter, Jessica LEE in 2004 and father, in 2006.

MONTGOMERY, 69, of Sallisaw, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Siloam Springs Seventh Day Adventist Church in Siloam Springs, Ark., with the Pastor Mark Lien officiating. Burial was in Gentry Cemetery, in Gentry, Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. MONTGOMERY was born Nov. 1, 1939, in Colton, Ga., to Troy Garvin MONTGOMERY and Mary Charity (KERR) MONTGOMERY. He died Thursday, April 2, 2009, in Tulsa. He married Judy BATT, Nov. 1976, in Siloam Springs. Survivors include his wife, Judy of the home; one son, Lance; one step-son, Dennis; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Shirley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Dora Freida ROBERTS, 87, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Zion Holiness Church in Vian with Bros. Leroy Watkins, John Roberts and Tommy Toliver officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, in Jasper, Mo., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. ROBERTS was born April 15, 1921, in Yonkers, to Thomas William GREY(sp) and Anne (QUICK) GRAY(sp). She died Monday, April 6, 2009, in Sallisaw. She married Maurice Eldon ROBERTS, March 10, 1945, in Bartlesville. He preceded her in death, March 1978, in Minden Mines, Mo. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dora Jean “D.J.”, Thelma and Gary, and Elizabeth Ann and David; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Doris, R. Wayne and Andrea, and Harold and Donna; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, May; five sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and a special home care provider, Robin. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Rebecca ROBERTS, her parents, one sister and seven brothers.

Burial is in Seabolt Cemetery, north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Roland. Mr. JONES was born Oct. 14, 1944, in Nicut, to Tom JONES and Stella (BYRD) JONES. He died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in Roland. Survivors include four sons, Jimmy Jr., Christopher, Paul and Bobby; one daughter, Tara Suzanne; five grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita and Joann; and two brothers, Johnny and Jargo. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bobby JONES.

Graveside services for Anna Lee KUHN, 78, of Riverside, Calif., formerly of Sallisaw, are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with Bro. Royce Martin officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. KUHN was born April 8, 1930, in Sequoyah County, to Jesse Leonard MELTON and Maude Ethel (HINDMAN) MELTON. She died Friday, April 3, 2009, in Riverside. Survivors include one daughter, Linda; three grandsons; one sister, Othel; and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Barbara Jean POLK, 54, of Fort Smith, Ark., will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Roland City Cemetery Gazebo with the Rev. Jack Boen officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. POLK was born Jan. 1, 1955, in Broken Arrow, to Luther Cleveland NOBLE and Alice May (HUNT) NOBLE. She died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, in Fort Smith. Survivors include three sisters, Beverly, Connie and Jewel; three brothers, Lawrence, Leonard and Ardie; four nieces; 11 nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Burial will be in Brent Cemetery, south of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. SMITH was born June 17, 1944, in Gans, to Andrew SMITH and Hazel (TOUNZEN) SMITH. He died Thursday, April 9, 2009, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Darla and Terry, Karlyn and Shawn; one son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Sherri; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Juanita, Gracie, Georgia, Shirley and Hazel; three brothers, Bert, Robert and E.W.; and several other relatives and friends. Graveside services for Ozzie BEELER, 65, of Muldrow, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark. with the Chaplain Joe Lee officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. BEELER was born Nov. 14, 1943, in New Market, Tenn., to Dallas BEELER and Nora Mae (WISE) HODGES. He died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, in Muldrow. He married Sandra Kay McLEMORE, Jan. 11, 1999, in Bullhead City, Ariz. Survivors include his wife, Sandra of the home; one daughter, Megan; two sons, Carroll and Wayne; one grandchild; mother, Nora Mae HODGES; three sisters; and three brothers. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

Funeral services for Jerry Don KILBY, 28, of Colorado Springs, Colo., were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 2, at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Colorado Springs, under the direction of Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Home of Colorado Springs. Mr. KILBY was born Oct. 27, 1980, in Sallisaw. He died Friday, March 27, 2009, at Penrose St. Francis Hospital. Survivors include his parents, Tom and Georgie, and Jerry and Tammy; brothers, Joshua, Dereck and Cody; daughter, Marisah and Nevaeh; grandparents, Jennifer LOCKHART and Gary HALE and Thomas and Heidi KILBY. He was preceded in death by Hoppy LOCKHART, Sonny WALTERS and Dora Marie HALE all of Sallisaw.

Longtime Sequoyah County Clerk, Mayme SMITH LILLARD,94, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, in Sallisaw. Services were held at 11 a m Friday ath the First United Methodist Church in Sallisaw. Bro Jim Murphy, Judge A.J. Henshaw, Dr David Clewell, Perry Farmer, Bill Orendorff and Sister Minerva Roberts officiated. Mrs LILLARD was born on Feb 20, 1915, in Price's Chapel to James SMITH and Delia (GOODWIN) SMITH. She married Woodrow Wilson LILLARD on  July 14, 1940, in  Siloam Springs, Ark. He preceded her in death on Dec 16, 1981, in Sallisaw. Mrs. LILLARD was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Bonnie SMITH and Ruby SHANLEY, and one brother, Arvil SMITH. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary, and Margaret and Gus; two sons, and one daughter-in-law, Frank, and Jack and Linda; her grandchildren; her great grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.  Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Daniel L. MALICK, 31, of Sallisaw, are being held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Christ the King Church in Vian with Stanley Dreyer officiating. Burial is in White Chapel Cemetery, west of Gore, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. MALICK was born May 20, 1977, in Muskogee, to John MALICK and Wanda (ANDERSON) MALICK. He died Saturday, April 11, 2009, in Sallisaw. Survivors include mother and step-father, Wanda and James HOLEMAN of the home; half-bother, James Daniel; several aunts and uncles, Ottie Mae, Laura Marie, Alice Faye, Anna Faye, Gary, Roy and Lonnie, Peggy, Pam, Corina and Carolyn; and several cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, John and Bessie ANDERSON and several aunts and uncles, Arie ANDERSON, Jerry ANDERSON, Vester ANDERSON, Haskell ANDERSON, Dorothy ANDIS, Helen BEBEE, Frances SEAWRIGHT, Berley Jewell and Mary MALICK.

Funeral services for Rev. Oma Anderson VILES Sr., 79, of Muldrow, were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. with the Revs. James Williams and Bill Adcock officiating. Burial was in Cotton Wood Cemetery, five miles southwest of Muldrow, under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith. Rev. VILES was born July 11, 1929, to Rev. William Andrew and Geneva Gertrude VILES. He died Friday, April 10, 2009, in Fort Smith. He married Doletta Mae McDONALD, June 15, 1951. Survivors include his wife, Doletta Mae VILES of the home; one daughter, Naomi Jeanette and her husband, James Willis; son, Oma Anderson Junior and his wife Cynthia Lynn, and eight grandchildren; son-in-law, Charles George; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Lona Mae, and Ona Belle and her husband George Dallas; and several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one special sister, Ruby Elizabeth VILES, two daughters, Joyce Magdalene BALLARD and Judith Lynn VILES and one granddaughter, Love Samara BALLARD-WHITACRE. He also had seven brothers and sisters that died in infancy.

Jim Henson officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. SMOKE was born Jan. 17, 1969, in Claremore, to Henry Curtis SMOKE and Sarah (KING) SMOKE. He died Thursday, April 16, 2009, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his father, of the home; three sisters, Loretta and her husband, Raymond, and Rhonda and Gloria; two brothers, Mike and his wife, Julie, and Bill and his wife, Bobbie; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, and two brothers, Thomas SMOKE and George Wayne SMOKE.

Graveside services for Janet B. “Jan” STYBER, 65, of Vian, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Brushy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. STYBER was born Jan. 31, 1944, in Los Angeles County, Calif., to John MORRIS and Sara (BOGER) MORRIS. She died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her special friend, Craig; two sons, John and Charles; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and other relatives and friends including her best friend, Byna SMITH.

Funeral services for Haley Marie TEEHEE, an infant, of Nicut, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Copic Baptist Church in Nicut with Bros. Teddy Qualls and Juke Kester officiating. Burial will be in Seabolt Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born April 13, 2009, in Stilwell, to Calvin TEEHEE and Michelle (QUALLS) TEEHEE. She died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, in Tulsa. Survivors include her parents of the home; one sister, Kerissa; two brothers, Zachery and Preston; maternal grandparents, Randy and Reccie QUALLS; paternal grandfather, Raymond TEEHEE; and maternal great-grandmother, Ella QUALLS. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Maydean TEEHEE and great-grandfather, L.E. QUALLS.

Funeral services for Wynona Romine WALTON, 71, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Troy Marino officiating. Irving J SCOTT "Scotty", 92, died April 23, 2009 in a Tulsa Hospital. He lived at Paradise Hills, Gore, Ok. He was born in Grant County, Ok. On the family farm December 13, 1916, to Jesse H. SCOTT AND Ena Maude (IRVIN) SCOTT. In April 1946 he married Helen TOWE of Bethany, Ok. His survivors are his wife, Helen, his son and daughter-in-law, Erwin and Shirley, and his daughter Brenda. His four grandchildren. His great grandson. His brother-in law, Ward and his sister, June and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Inita SPIVY of Waukomis, Ok and a brother, Ivan SCOTT of Enid, Ok.
