Funeral services for Duane BERRYMAN, 56, of Vian, were held at 2 p.m.  Friday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev Leon Farley officiating.  Burial was in Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on Jan 6, 1948, in Greeley, Colo., to John Loren BERRYMAN and Gladys Ruth (UTTER) BERRYMAN. He died on Tuesday, July 27, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Lindsey; one son, Chance; his mother; one sister, Normalene; one brother Gary Lorene; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Juanita Dyer HOPKINS, 94, of Gore, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2004, at the First Assembly of God Church in Webbers Falls, with the Rev. Wendell Cox officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.She was born on Nov. 9, 1909, near Webbers Falls, to George S. DYER and Lilly (RAPER) DYER. She died on July 27, 2004, in Gore Nursing Home. Survivors include one sister, Ethel; one son and daughter-in-law, Frank F. and his wife, Marjorie; one granddaughter; Three great-granddaughters; one grandson; one grandson; one step-son Larry and his wife Carolyn,  and one step grandson, and friends, Bob and Mary, Nellie, and Louise. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie HOPKINS in 1978.

Graveside services for James "Ras' KAISER, 74, of Warner, are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Warner Memorial Cemetery, with Ed Hyslope officiating, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webber Falls. He was born on July 28, 1930, in McClain, to John and Margaret (LAWSON) DAISER. He died on Wednesday, July 28, 2004. He married Kathryn MILLER on Dec 21, 1957. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn KAISER of the home; two sons, Jim and his wife Tracey, and John and his wife Suzan; three daughters, Melinda and her husband Philip, Terry, and Sherry and her husband Chuck; 19 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; his mother; one brother, Bill and his wife Carol; sevearl nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

Veora MURPHY, 49, of Gentry, Ark., formerly of Bokoshe, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at her home. Arrangements were under the direction of Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers, Ark. She was born Dec 1, 1954, in Orange County, Calif., to Jack and Vivian LOWREY HETTINGER. She married Michael MURPHY on June 18, 1981. Survivors include her husband of the home; one son, Robert Bradford; two brothers, Richard and O'Riley; three sisters, Leann, Georgetta and Leora. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services for Bertha Elizabeth CASEY, 96, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Brian Zinck officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Dec. 4, 1907, in Hanson community, to Samuel Benton WATSON and Mary Ellen THOMAS. She died on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, in Perryton, Texas. She married John Wesley CASEY on Oct. 18, 1925, in Sloans Chapel community. He preceded her in death in October of 1947. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Doris E., Joyce and Bill, and Bonnie and Ronald; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Bivra Jean MOCK; three sons, John B. CASEY, Donald CASEY and Capt. Michael CASEY; one son-in-law, Chock Charles LONG; three sisters, Bonnie HOWELL, Bess FLOYD and Bert RANDOLPH; and four brothers, Isaac WATSON, John WATSON, Samuel WATSON and Harland WATSON.

Funeral services for Dorothy DAVIS, 81,of Broken Arrow, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Faith Fellowship Church, with burial being at 2 p.m. at the Maple Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Amis-Kennard Funeral Services of Broken Arrow.She was born on Dec. 9, 1922, in Clarksville, Ark., to W.J. JACKSON and Laura (KINDALL) JACKSON. She died on Saturday, July 31, 2004, in her home. She married G.W. DAVIS in 1945. He preceded her in death in 1996. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Joan and Laura Jean  and her husband Jerry; two sons and daughter-in-law, G.W. Jr. and his wife Patricia, and A.J. and his wife Mary; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Josie JACKSON ROE; two half-sisters, Ethel LAWSON and Mary King WADE and two half-brothers, Rufus KING and Seburn KING.

Funeral services for Debra HENRY, 50, of Muskogee, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the First Assembly of God Church, with the Revs. Robert Adams and Steve Rose officiating.Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.She was born on Nov. 23, 1953, in Tulsa, to C.A. Graveside services for Flora Marie "Jane" HESTER, 88, of Ash Flat, Ark., formerly of Little Rock, Ark., will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Paw Paw Cemetery, southeast of Muldrow, with the Rev. She was born on June 17, 1916, near Tahlequah, to Charles HESTER and Ollie Samantha SCRIBNER.  She died on Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, in Little Rock. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Ruby Charlene,  and Carol and Russell; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Donald D. and Joyce,  and Tom D. ; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.

She died on Thursday, July 29, 2004, in Shawnee. She married Guy W. PAYNE on Sept. 13, 1945, in Mexico. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1996. Survivors include one daughter, Guylene; one granddaughter; two grandsons; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jackie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for James Milton "Pony Jim" SIMS, 75, of Menomonie, Wis. were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with the Rev. Steve Crites officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Menomonie, under the direction of Olson Funeral Home of Menomonie.He was born on Dec. 4, 1928, in Mountainburg, Ark., to Jesse Wheeler SIMS and Maude Ethel (KILPATRICK) SIMS. He died on Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Myrtle Werth Hospital-Mayo Health System in Menomonie. Survivors include six sons and three daughters, Jimmy and Brenda, Kenneth, Carol and Randy, Cindy and Steve, and Billy and Gina, Tim, John, Jennifer and Wayne, and Shalako, 21 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, Leonard, Esta, Lena Mae, Marie and Vernon, and several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends, including his special friend Violet DRURY and her family of Menomonie. Funeral services for Jewell Marie VERNON, 86, of Muldrow, are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, with the Revs. Randy Farmer and Sankie Lynch officiating. Burial is in Blackjack Cemetery northwest of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Aug. 10, 1917, in Muldrow, to Willie BUTLER and Elvira DAWES. She died on Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, in Sallisaw. She married Thomas Price VERNON on April 28, 1960, in Fort Smith. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 1999. Survivors include one daughter, Winnell; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Cleo and Imogene. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby CASON on May 25, 1993.

Burial will be in Round Mountain Cemetery, in Gore, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.She was born on Sept. 28, 1916, in Lonoake, Ark., Jake TYLER and Carrie PAYNE TYLER. She died on Thursday, August 5, 2004, in Vian. Survivors include six nieces and nephews with spouses, and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, J.D. HOWARD, her second husband, Pat PATTERSON, her parents; four brothers and one sister.

She was born on Feb. 17, 1913, in Cecil, Franklin County, Ark., to Thomas Edward EUBANKS and Mollie MILLER EUBANKS. She died on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, in Gore. She married Edgar Elmo BARNES on April 2, 1992, in Roland. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2003. Survivors include three nieces; and one daughter-in-law, Nancy.

Ima Dean CORDRAY, 79, of Tahlequah, died on Friday, July 16, 2004, in her home.Arrangements were under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah. She was born on July 16, 1925, in Indianola, to Joe and Josie (TULLY) MARCHANT. Survivors include her husband, Robert "Bob" CORDRAY of the home; one daughter, Wanda Gail; one son, Dennis Alan; one brother, Fred D.; and six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Alonzo RELEFORD Jr.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Diana Hartman officiating. Burial will follow in the Sallisaw City Cemetery under direction of Agent Funeral Home. Mr. BLACK was born to Jewel H. BLACK and Bess J. (SLAMA) BLACK on May 7, 1921, in Yellville, Ark. He married May Elizabeth GRIFFITH on Dec. 21, 1947, in Sallisaw. Mr. BLACK was preceded in death by his wife, on March 18, 2004, and one brother, Fred BLACK. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Donnie; one brother, Ned; one niece; three nephews; one great-nephew; and other relatives and friends.

Wilbur James GUNIER, 79, of Webbers Falls, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, in his home.A private service will be held under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. GUNIER was born on Feb. 25, 1925, in Kansas City, Mo., to Oran B. and Eva Jane (SISNEY) GUNIER. Survivors include his wife, Judith GUNIER of the home; two sons, Rick and Terry and several grandchildren.
